I am a painter working primarily in acrylic, gouache and mixed media on a variety of surfaces using a range of scale.

My work is initiated and informed by drawing and taking photographs out in the natural environment, to capture and recall the sensations and emotional responses evoked by the experience. I develop the painted, drawn and collaged work from these initial observations.

My current work is focused on a dialogue with memory and sense of place, in particular the landscape of Sussex.

​

With the seasons changing around us in the heart of Stanmer Park it is a delight to be here in this highly creative artistic community.
